SEPTEMBER 24, 2020 - Jaguars vs. Dolphins
Thursday Night Football. National Television. Primetime. All Teal. All things that made Jaguars fans hopeful that this team would be different, and maybe better than many expected. An opportunity to show that just maybe, we could compete and have a fun season. Unfortunately, those hopes and that opportunity were quickly extinguished before the game even started. Another won coin toss. Another defer, kick and trot a defense out there that once again, allowed an opening drive touchdown. Yet another game that Gardner Minshew and the offense had an immediate hole to try and claw out of. This time though, there would be no DJ Chark, and thus a broken game plan, subpar play-calling, key drops by another Jags receiver (nicknamed ‘All Pro’ by the Bold Take Podcast, so he will not be named here), and ultimately a loss in front of all of America.
Hey! At least the all teal uniforms were absolutely amazing to finally see and fun to shoot!
Like everything else in life though, once it’s over it’s over, so time to brush it off and work towards winning the next opportunity - on to Cincinnati for Week 4.
