1-7…not much to be said about the Jaguars’ season thus far other than the record speaks for itself. However, Sunday’s loss was in exciting fashion at least. In his first career NFL start, 6th round rookie Jake Luton’s first completion was a deep touchdown pass to DJ Chark. I had the pleasure of meeting Jake’s parents, brothers and more of his family who flew in from Washington state to cheer him on! From a photographer’s perspective, I felt like I struggled as much as the Jaguars for much of the game. Many of the game’s exciting plays seemed to be the opposite end of the stadium from me, and without field access this season, there’s a good amount of things that can get in the way of the shot as a result…like goalposts!!! Still though, I felt like I came away with some shots that I am happy with and as always, will never take the experience to shoot more and grow for granted!
